The popup furniture for Lasdamas translates the brand’s scent-driven philosophy into a spatial narrative. Using interlocking ash wood and aluminum elements with expressive, raw finishes, the furniture forms a unified structure where fragrance becomes a medium that connects people, objects, and space—evoking memories that feel familiar yet unknown.
Lasdamas는 향을 매개로 감정적 안정과 개인적 회복을 돕고, 자연의 본질을 일상 속으로 끌어들여 마음과 몸의 균형을 회복하는 브랜드이다. 이들의 제품은 자연에서 얻은 성분을 기반으로 하며, 단순한 기능을 넘어 감각적 위안을 제공하는 경험에 초점을 맞추고 있다.
Lasdamas is a mind-and-body care brand that seeks to restore one’s natural state of calm by bringing the essence of nature into everyday life, using fragrance as a medium for emotional grounding and personal rediscovery. Their products draw from nature, emphasizing clean formulations and sensory experiences that offer comfort beyond simple functionality.
이러한 Lasdamas의 가치에 기반하여, 다음 세 가지 개념을 공간적·구조적으로 구현한 팝업 가구를 디자인하였다.

이를 위해 애쉬 원목 각재와 알루미늄 판재를 사용하여 가구를 제작했다. 가구들은 서로 구조적으로 연결되어 하나의 유기적 시스템처럼 작동하며, 알루미늄 판재는 투박한 용접 흔적을 그대로 드러내어 질감을 강조하고 감각적 긴장감을 부여했다. 따뜻한 원목과 차갑고 거친 금속의 대비는, Lasdamas가 추구하는 감정과 기억의 층위를 공간적 레이어로 확장시킨다.
To articulate these concepts, we created a furniture system composed of ash wood members and aluminum plates. Each furniture piece is structurally interlocked, forming a continuous assembly that appears as one organism. The aluminum plates intentionally reveal their raw character through rugged welding techniques, amplifying their tactile presence. Meanwhile, the ash wood provides warmth and grounding, acting as a human-scaled counterpoint to the industrial surface.
